ok alan, as promised, here is the rest of what i have to say...take it, or leave it for what you think it is worth...
it bothers me that some of these issues remain answered even now...but it also pleases me that i have seen responses to some of these issues that suit me personally...for instance...
it bothers me that there have yet to be disclosure as to what all the company is doing...yet, i personally do believe that they are doing several things and i personally do believe that these things, whatever they are, are good for the company...the man is building his own company...why on earth would he not make it the best it can be...nobody in their right mind would put forth such effort and intentionally fail...not only would it be terribly expensive, but at this stage of the game, i am certain there would be legal ramifications involved with severe penalty, as well...
there are things that do officially tie things together...im not going to take the time to go find them and quote them to you, but i am making reference to such things as you see in their subsequent press releases that say such things as...panamericanbancorp - prwt....and things like...realty money center, wholly owned subsidiary...and insider trader, owned by panam...and etc...these are public identifiers...these are given to the world in official press releases, and have to be approved by people who know the loopholes of the law...these statements have to be able to stand the scruiteny of the s.e.c, if need be...therefore, these kinds of things are positive proof to me that there is adequate tie-in of these entities to make them a whole...this may be unreasonable to some people...ok fine...that is what my mama meant when she said that some people like chocolate and some people like vanilla...but to me, it is good enough to satisfy my basic question...it does not mean that i dont still have questions about these specific things, but it does tell me that, basically, there is a measure of safety built into them...by law, and by regulation, and most of all, by accountability of having said those things in a public and official forum...
there are other severe questions...financial reports...there are none...there have been none...i can not name a single individual who has ever been seen to post on this thread, or in the email group, who is satisfied with that fact...in spite of the neverending crap that comes from jhild about this, day after day after goddam day, and of the responses to him by people such as myself, you have never seen where any of us "longs" (segregated), have said that we thought it did not matter...YES IT MATTERS...there is nothing that would make me any happier than to see the official financial reports on my doorstep tomorrow, hand delivered...i would not know how to interpret them personally, but the good people that we have the opportunity to work with here would, and they would have the interpretation out to the rest of us immediately...and i guarantee you they would not leave a pebble unturned in their explanations...jdcpa is a certified public accountant...he would know what every little piece of it would mean...he has always been one of the most helpful here, at all times, and concerning all manners, but jhild beats up on the man without quarter...there are corporate lawyers among us...they would///will understand, to the benefit of people like me...my point remains...they are not out, and we all wish they were out...so...lets analyze why they are not out...(they will be out eventually)...
in the first place, legally speaking, they are not now required...were that not the case, they would be out...and for all the quacking in the world by the mother or all idiots, it is not legally inappropriate that they not be out...to me, this can be interpreted as the people who make the rules are satisfied at the moment that the reports are out...just because i wish for them, and other things, does not mean that i have a right to them, at this time...i have addressed this issue several times in my past attempts to reason with jhild...always with the same senseless objections...more of which will follow this post, i am absolutely certain...were i the c.e.o. of a growing company, and financial reports were not required, i would also not give them out until i had much of my ongoing building processes completed, and also until i could make those numbers, in honest actuality, be as good as they could possibly be...would you do it any differently, just to shut some fool up...would you publish it this week, instead of next week, if you were not required too, and next week would be better for the overall presentation of your company in the eyes of the business and investing community...maybe so...maybe not...i would not...i made a parable of this to jhild by saying that were he to be going out on a date with a beautiful woman for the first time, he would naturally want to make himself be the best he could be...my attempt at reason...naturally, he laughed at me...again...as always...accused me of ignorant homespun southern hatteras philosophy...call it what you want...if it makes sense, it makes sense...the next financial report by panam will be their first, alan, and prudence, and just plain common sense, dictate that the more he can get accomplished, the more profits that some of these subsidiaries can turn, the better that first, and singular most important report will be...and that, to me, makes sense...you may see it differently...
what in the hell are they doing...what is working...what is not working...what are they buying...how are people getting paid...what costs how much...how is it getting paid for...exactly what are we, and what do we emcompass...are we actually anything...where...when...how....why....why why why WHY!!!you want questions...son, i gottem for ya...so do a lot of people...there are many defininative answers to these questions...or for some of them, at least...there are also a lot of non answers and a lot of conjecture...and questions lead to other questions and more answers and more non answers and more and more conjecture...in the end, i am an observer who participates by investing if i think it is the thing for me to do...to tell him how to run his business is not the thing for me to do...if he telephones me and asks me how i want things done, i have some ideas, but until that telephone call comes, it is none of my business...it is his company to do with as he sees best for it...
so, with all of that in mind, we have choices...we find out what can and we hash it around among ourselves and come up with what we think is accurate...in the end, we stick with it, or we move on because what we see does not suit us...i tried to explain how and why i think these things a couple of days ago in my post to colleen...i thought it then...i think it now...i invite you to go back and read that post again, now that your anger has subsided a bit, alan...
i am going to talk about people now...i am going to name some names and i am going to make some comparisons, as i see them...you may agree, you may disagree...it does not matter...your opinion is as valuable to you as mine is to me, and i respect that...as i discuss the people i intend to discuss here, i am going to elude to motive, spirit of cooperation, worth of the individuals actions, sincerity, and value to the successes and failures of this overall project...
i will begin with jdcpa, and move on into jhild...there will be joint discussion about the two of them, because there is ongoing issue between them...you have seen me stick up for jdcpa in the past...you will see me stick up for him in the future...why would i take my time to do that...why do i give a hoot about him...what makes jdcpa so special to me...i have never met the man...if he were to come and bang on my front door, he would have to identify himself...i never even heard of him until four or five months ago...so, you may ask, why listen to him...i think the man is a gentleman...i think he works very hard to find out things for me...god knows i dont understand any of it...i drive a goddam boat for a living...i have no professional business background...all of it goes completely over my head...i have never been ashamed to admit this...i personally need people like jdcpa to make these things understandable and enjoyable for me...and with that in mind, he is a person who devotes his time to help people like me understand what i am confronted with...he digs and finds things out for the good of the whole of the people here...he shares with us, and tells us about what he finds out to the best of his ability, and tries to separate fact from hearsay...for this he receives no direct compensation...and for this he receives the neverending chastisement of the likes of jhild and rosario...everything he says, he says because he believes it is correct, and because he believes he is helping, and for that he is called a liar and is challenged in the most hostile of ways...back up and read one thousand posts...read them objectively...dont necessarily look at the subject content of each post, but pay close attention to the attitudes that prevail...prove this prove that...it aint so...blah blah blah...it is not jdcpa's responsibility to have to prove anything...alan, it is not his fault that things dont happen the way jhild demands they happen...jhild has no desire to discuss anything with jdcpa...jhild simply wants to insult this man and denegrate him with every word...every last thing that jdcpa says he says in good faith, and is ostracized for it without regard for the truth, or the good intent presented...and though he is bullied every day, he still works for people like me, because we need him...and others...jdcpa just happens to be too much of a gentleman to fight it directly, and i am not...you, meaning anyone, can do or say anything they want to do or say to me, but dont fuck with my friends...i will not stand for it...
if you go back and see...several months back, you will see that i spent much of my time trying to reason with jhild...i tried to cause him to have reason to understand why things go unanswered...i honestly thought at the time that he was a person who was interested in discussing things from an impartial point of view, and i foolishly believed, at the time, that i was speaking to an individual who was capable of objectivity and fairness...for the past two months, jhild has become increasingly hostile and angry...his negativity has become unbelievably redundant...his ability to create unrealistic scenarios has become more and more silly...the ease in which he attacks people is not normal by any standard...his willingness to enter into bitter argument with every individual has become ordinary...his "spin" on anything having to do with this company and these individuals who participate here everyday, have become bizarre to say the least...and the funny thing, alan, is that none of this attitude of his does him any good...he is not even personally involved, by his own admission...he is to stupid to realize, though having been told many times by many people, that the validity of what he has to say, becomes meaningless in his neverending jibberish about whatever it is he wants to slash at, at the moment...in the end, he has absolutely nothing to say, but it is most important to him that when he has nothing to say, he says it with style...nothing is nothing, i dont give a flip how fancy your vocabulary is...no amount of style can cover up such incredible insincerity, alan...i, for one, am not impressed...are you...
