If they don't spin off shares to shareholders it's a major screw job and expect the lawsuits to fly. The shareholders own Alta Vista.

Dear Lynn: Reason that I asked is that years ago I owned a Company called Teledyne that annually had stock dividends. They allowed investors to either add money and get more stock at that days price or take cash instead. If we have to compete in the open market you know what will happen. Stock will GAP UP by many points. I am only interested in INTERNET stocks at the IPO price not the ridiculous price they run up to. JDN
