Kodak is an example of how trade barriers and government sponsorship can give a competitor an advantage. Motorola... there's a good example of corporate implosion. You've got me on that one.

Hey Mr. Fun, I don't think there is much to worry about. The growth will be there simply because there is more business out there than people realize. Just think of the Europeans and Asians, neither of which have the infrastructure that the US has currently. There is about $300 billion of antiquated equipment that needs to be updated, not to mention the emerging markets as in Asia. Even if competition is fierce and Cisco only get 30% of the entire world market, you're still talking about a company that will triple revenues in the next 3-4 years. You can bank on that.
