Did some more research on UIHIA/UPCOY....

UIHIA will own around 63% of UPC after the IPO. Total outstanding shares of UPC after the IPO - 123 million

The US component of the IPO is 17.6 million. The international component is 22.4 million. Out of these 40 million shares, around 10.16 million shares are reserved for MSFT. There is no mention of the exact source of the shares to be sold to MSFT. I am assuming that all 10.16 million shares will not be coming from the US component.

Insider selling seems to be absent... A director (John Riordin) seems to have bought 384,531 shares at around 15.58/shr around Dec 20,1998.

Regards.
Rajiv

what do I care about hype - the stock speaks for itself - wait 2 weeks when Morgan and Goldman bring UPC public , then check the thread.
