As expected this game was close. ANybody who thought Duke would blow UNC out was disregarding that this usually one of the best college matchups. Slightly disappointed in Langdon's and Brand's overall performance. Carrawell played great as well as Battier. Burgess played some pretty good minutes. Had some huge rebounds and that great put back. Avery: Very interesting game. He scored a lot but Cota kept going right by him. Vital kept saying that Avery can't guard Cota, but that's just not true. Avery needed to take a step or two back and let Coat shoot the j, but I'm sure Coach K wanted Avery in Cota's face and let the help defense guard Cota when he penetrates. Cota and Addy: Huge games. Cota did surprise me a little with his quickness. Avery should have been ready for the behind the back reverse the direction penetration move that Cota did several times.
