I doubt 99Q1 revenue will be more than 98Q4 revenue unless they cooked the books somehow.

Did Amazon really say that? or was it reported wrong.

If they said that I think they are wrong. I suspect they meant 99Q1 will be more than 98Q1 revenue.

Most retailers to the vast majority of yearly sales in the holiday season.

I did not listen again but I believe the comment was more of a guess rather than a matter of fact. It was Covey that said she believed they "could" show a seqential increase in revenue from Q4 98 to Q1 99. The analysts than made it sound like a fact.
