Gabriel- As always, thanks for your help....you know, I am guessing that (given that Dell reports Nov.-Jan. and IDC reports Oct.-Dec.) that Dell could see an additional pop of .01 or so (or more?) in substituting January for October..

My thought process is that October was (apparently) a weak month for Gateway, and other manufacturers...Remember that Dell came in a little bit lighter than we expected last quarter (capturing October)...Kumar said (in October) that companies were delaying traditional end-of-month purchasing in October due to (overall) economic uncertainties..

From the grapevine, it looks like there was terrific momentum going into January...uncertainty lifted for corporations...consumer empowered by bonuses and stock market recovery...

Hope I'm right...maybe that could push your prediction to .37 to .40, no?
