Aus...regarding 3Com Palm Pilots...I would have thought that by now 3Com would have had a CF slot in their Palm Pilots if they thought here were applications that warranted CF...or even future applications that would fit in those tiny Palm Pilot screens. Nevertheless...I have always thought that CF would be great for a Palm Pilot if someone would come up with the appropriate application for it. Do you know of any applications to look for on Palm Pilots?

Aus -

Hi there and hope you are well.

Just went into a PC World store and found they were selling the Rio! Good I thought since I hadn't actually seen a real one so I asked if he liked them. Salesman said oh yes they were great and then showed me with great glee how you can shake them about and the music doesn't get affected at all.

Good I thought but I knewe that. BUT what I didn't know was that the Rio uses Smart Media and the salesman was quite enthusiatic about that as well!!! What a turn off. I think the Rio is useless and backward technology now. Can't wait till the Pontis comes out!

So I say to the salesman I see you have lots of SMs ready for camers but I hear that most cameras are now moving away from SM to CF and hes says Oh no SM is much better becasue you can put it in a floppy and download but with a CF you have to have a special adapter and its slow!!!!!

Felt ill......

Nice salesman but he's wrong ....isn't he?

Regards,

L

Have electronic book readers been discussed as an application for SanDisk products yet?
I wonder who this company is using...
