The fact that a majority of Americans want the impeachment trial to end does not validate such views. For instance at one time majority opinion was clearly against women voting, blacks voting, integration, etc. Moreover, if you believe Starr gets his jollies out of this whole mess you obviously haven't examined his impressive record of accomplishment. I spoke to the actions of our president which are at issue...you ignored those actions and spoke of STARR which is not at issue. Truly. Which is exactly what I mean by "you are full of Starry-eyed talk as though he is YOUR savior." well, you do try so to make him so- you use him to save you from really looking at what Clinton has really done--which is indefensible. Perhaps you weren't meant to understand this? It was just a somewhat humorous if very oddly real twist....SO when you say "Dan B., you are reading into my words meanings that I never intended, I assure you." ...it was just the other way around- I assure YOU. All this talk about Christian boy Starr just getting his rocks off totally ignores the reality of what Clinton has really done. And no, it's not about sex, it's about the lengths the man will go to in order to hide from his own sexuality...willing to destroy others for the sake of protecting himself from the sort of thing the public had already forgiven him for before...He's lower than dirt...Whatever you think of Starr, you can't reverse what Clinton truly is. You are perfectly free and welcome to dissagree with me, but nobody said it would be easy. :-) If you ignore the issue and fail to clear Clinton of the very real charges I leveled at him- thanks to your failure to take up the specific issues in any shape manner or form what-so-ever as you turned to the irrelevent disscussion of Starr instead, I'll call a duck a duck. Just as you chose to dissagree in your reply to my random post, I choose to stand up for myself and speak my mind right back. Just because I do is no reason for you to imagine I should want to hit the next and move on....I"LL make those decisions, thank-you. I've got an open enough mind to read the other side and honestly consider it, even adopt it at times.
