Alastair,
Have you called that Kraft VP yet? I guess not.
All bluster and wimp.

HI AL,
This is an example of a post that could get a gold star
Another ZDNET Poll this week:

cgi.zdnet.com

Now you are correct to say that John and Cheryl make this type of post.As do I and most other posters. The post in of itself is fine, but there are other subjective factors that I use in my gold star rating.First let me say that it is ok for you to be subjective you may think that the kids posts, urls have the same value as Cheryl or John.I may agree or disagree, but that does not affect your right to think or say
whatever.Conversely my rating system is subjective you may or may not agree but I have the right to my own system.Yes? Now I look at quantity and banality and intent and malice and other factors all of which are subjective,so it is not likely we would agree.Your post for example even with a url could not earn a gold star, because you also posted your thoughts asked questions had a civil manner and generally attempted an honest discourse. The fact that I may be a Pollyandy and you a doombrooder is not part of the equation.I have no public opinion on Mr De Jager at this time. J.L.T.
