Larry, Lev said line 1 was producing 4 BATTERIES
a minute. I was there and was aware of all the
contraversey over his words in the previous CC,
so I noted his exact words very closely.

Rich Wolf just plain reported it wrong when he
said lev said 4 cells/minute. As they have been
discussing on this thread, it continues to be
confusing and many believe that Lev means cells
when he says batteries.

Be that as it may, he most certainly did say
'4 batteries a minute' and '25 batteries a
minute'. I heard him say it.

Larry,

I actually agree with a lot of what you say, but in this case
if he said 1800 batteries, he meant 1800 cells. He uses cells and
batteries interchangeably. In fact, a cell is a battery so the fact that he does so does not surprise me. Its the application and the capacity that determines how many cells are used in a particular application by a particular user.

Since Valence sells cells, I doubt he would be converting
to the number of cells used in a particular battery application to
describe break-even points. A particular user might have 4 large cells
rather than 3 if he so desired and then all the calculations would be off.

Again, a Valence cell is a battery by itself. when he says cells or batteries, he means cells since that is the standard unit at Valence.
