They have been saying this! Apparently, many don't have
belief in their word.

I'll bet the employees are ready to start a revolt.
They waited a long time for their stocks to recoup, and
now their back to square 1 on "nothing concrete".

It does seem riduculous that there is no way
for any sort of damage control. Sheesh, I don't think
even the interNUT stocks drop this fast, do they?

A simple statement is all that is required -- "We see no change in the fundamentals of the business". What scares me is they realize this but can't make it because it may not be true. I'm tired of hearing that they can't make a statement because this is their back-end quarter. For God sakes there is only 18 more days until the end of the quarter. They have a pretty good feel on where the quarter numbers will end up. The financial community does not trust 3COM and with this debacle they probably never will!
