He NEVER spoke a SINGLE WORD attributed to him in any English Bible! ! ! ! (Except, maybe, Selah) Gosh. Can you survive these revelations? [Actually, the latter one is the one I use to get rid of JWs and others who come to the door to convert me. I know enough Greek that when they start saying "Christ said ... " I'm able to answer, "No, he didn't. He never said a word of that. He DID say "[babble Greek]" Blows their minds every time. If you're going to take Christ's words literally, you have to quote HIM, not some translator! And yeah, this message does belong on this thread, because watching their faces when I say this is one of the funniest parts of my week.]
