Nevertheless, I think I understand the concept and that is to set a stop a certain number of standard deviations below the price. Is that correct? If so, why not just use Bollinger Bands? I will try to overlay these alert markers over my most frequently used systems and check it out..I have a couple systems that do quite well but I tend to be a believer more on the buys ..when it goes my way I exit too soon..so I'm somewhat more mechanical on entry, then get giddy on a profit and exit when I feel like it..I am very disciplined in keeping looses to a minimum..When you can trade for $7.95 I can always reenter if the sell was premature and it really doesn't cost that much..I know what I need..I don't think it is a mechanical sell in a profitable trade but a good trailing stop methodology. It may not be the most profitable method but would fit my personality best.. Thanks for your suggestions.. Dick.
