I spoke with the manager of my local COMPUSA , He told me that he sold out of his PMA programs last week. He had a total of 12 and all went in 3 days.
I then asked him if he was geting mre instock and he checked his computer. He first told me no then told me that yes they were. The skew number was changing becuase the program was being repackaged
in a special box that was going to a special COMPUSA release of the program. He got this information from an internal memo that instructed him to pull and PMA program from the shelf and to send them back , because they couldn't have the same program in to different boxes on the shelf at the same time. He also told me that he had at least 3 people besides me ask about the program.

David, I would love for the company to allow me to do some of those things that you mentioned.

Althouhg I will not do them without the approval of the company.

We need to have 20 projects going right this minute for one to pop, then we network with the rest and atleast 5 more will fall into line within 60 days,

We have a base, Staples with the video, which is great to take to other people and CompUsa. That says alot for our company right now being in these stores so fast, but we need more poppers.

Now I'm not trying to stir up the hornets nest,

BUT I WILL BE FU$$ING DAMNED IF I'M GOING TO WATCH MY 250K PLUS INVESTMENT GO DOWN THE FU44ING DRAIN, THAT IS WHY I'M SAYING LETS GET IT ON, AND LETS DO IT KNOW.

You never know unless you try. And I'm ready for the challenge.

PS, what also pisses me off big time now david,

When leroyt posted the article a few weeks ago about the American Airlines magazine, I called and got the publisher and the info for BNEZ to contact the writer to see how he found out about us. Well I gave the company the info and 72 hours later they still hadn't gotten him on the phone, THAT TO ME MEANS ONLY 1 THING, They have to few people trying to do one job.

I would have had that guy on the phone is less than 48 hours and then had the info to post on the BNEZ homepage to give the investor some news.

We have still yet to hear from the company how this guy found out about us, AND I BET MY SWEET ASS THE LAWYERS AREN'T SAYING, OH NO, DON'T POST THAT INFO, COULD BE BAD FOR THE LAWSUIT.

of course this is just my opinion, but what the hell, I'm paying for it.

David,
I'm darn impressed at your initiative. I think that you aimed for exactly the right people, but without the backing of the company behind you and enough determination to keep pounding on the door it was just too much to accomplish. Someone focused on this exclusively has a much better shot. But who knows, maybe you have planted a seed that someone else can come along and water.

PMJI, but maybe we set our evaluations sights too high. Most major metropolitan newspapers have a person on staff that evaluates software for a column in the paper. Maybe BNEZ (or some of us) could send out promo copies to 100 or so of the largest local newspapers for a write up. This eval copy should include a sort of press pack with a guide to steer the reviewer to the key features of the package. Anyway, just a thought, and I'll go back to lurking now.
