Michelle, I hope you are right, as I own many more Compaq puts than Dell puts. I don't think Compaq can prosper on the Net because they are competing with their own sales channel. It may be annoying for a Microage salesman selling Compaq boxes to fight against Dell with a customer, but to fight against Compaq would be more than annoying. Which is why the folks in the channel are starting to clomp together their own generic products.

Best,

MB

Michelle you know how Compaq.com works? Well I tell ya, first you go to their website, that will get you the phone number for your local CompUsa and the direction to get there too with road map and everything, not a bad job,if you ask me,E-Commerce at its finest.<vbg>

Or you can try to get one from them direct if they have the model you are looking for on offer (I think they have only one line for sale via the web), the only thing is you get to pay more than what the local Channel guy would have charged you.

Yup,5fer said recently he is THE undisputed leader in E-Commerce, yeah that is a good one.<vbg>

I gotta go,see ya.
