Patrick,

I only mentioned P&F in response to JERRY's comment when he indicated that many of the GURU's are calling for the downswing.

My disgussion is based on the average investor and what/how much they know.

Patrick, I would agree that most brokers know nothing about P&F but there are also a cadre of brokers out there who are clients of ours that I would rank with the best money managers in the world. These brokers use both fndamental and Point & Figure Analysis and are true craftsmen. Yes the majority of brokers do not understand P&F and will never understand it. It is a program of attraction not promotion and it is for those who want it not those who need it. There are also many individual investors (SI Point & Figure Therad) that are also true craftsmen in this method. Many investors are taking the time to learn as are many brokers. For instance our research and charting system is on every brokers desk at Prudential, Wheat First, J.C. Bradford, Tucker Anthony, Sutro, Davenport, McDonalds. This is a major step in the acceptance and understanding of this method. Many others are coming on line. This does not mean that all brokers at these firms understand it but like the old saying "IF you hang around a barber shop long enough you're going to get a haircut". The more they are around it the more likely they are to learning it. Our Stockbroker Institute is always oversubscribed with a long waiting list. We will have our first Individual Investor Instituet this year. So all in all, don't discount all brokers. There are many who are the best money managers on the planet. Tom Dorsey
