john,
DELL and IBM fluff move to shore up stock price while the bosses unload. Enjoy the ride.
MD so sure this is such a fabulous move, he decided to sell 4 million more shares. I know, I know, he's still got a shitload of stocks. But if this was such a fabulous deal, why wouldn't he wait a few months? I suppose it could be that his wife needs a new car or his kid needs a new bike, but perhaps he just doesn't want to make any more money. He'd prefer to keep his returns only in the 1000% range and not really get into the 10000% range.

Good luck. If you stay bent over when they're giving it to you, it's your own fault.

So you are saying that buying from a competitor is a good business.
If I'm McDonald's to cut my cost I should buy patties from Burger King to pass on all the risk to Burger King.
Wow, this is genius.

John, Another non-sensical note. Dell and IBM just tried to get some positive PR while their businesses go to hell in a handbasket. These are great PR scam cos. The deal is a big nothing.

Added to the "scary" scene at this end today. (g)
