Granted that may be true, but if enough people perceive it as something of positive importance, that is enough to draw in enough buying to cause a short squeeze,no?

OnSale says reaches 10 million auction bids

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 8 (Reuters) - Internet auctioneer OnSale Inc. said Monday that more than 10 million bids have been placed on its atAuction service at www.onsale.com.

The ten-millionth bid was placed on Sunday, and comes two months after reaching the nine-millionth bid, the company said in a statement.

"Passing 10 million bids illustrates our continued momentum in the retail online auction market, even as we are expanding into the selling of new goods," the company said in a statement.

OnSale is an online auctioneer that has expanded into the wholesaling of computer equipment with Onsale atCost.
