Mayo, I was going a quantum leap beyond that referenced, where the single IP was accessed by a single computer, both of which were essentially networked by a "BT" type device, requiring only a second keyboard and monitor.

Why not, "BeThere" just needs the second keyboard & monitor, let the kids use the old 15 inch, or the 32 inch TV! Stretch those . P~A~R~A~D~I~G~M~S . a bit, OK!!!

Nooooow that we are on the same wavelength.....

A couple of problems with that product that most may not recognize.

First - it will only work between two PCs unless you have a LAN setup which would involve having network cards in all the PCs and a hub to connect all of them.

Second - the "two PC setup" relies on interconnection via the serial ports and it's generally not advisable to try to run a serial cable over 25 feet.

The one thing that really gets me is the claim that it won't slow the access speed down. It should be pretty obvious that a modem can only connect at one speed and it would have to be shared. If it was connected at 28.8K and both PCs were trying to pull down different webpages at the same time they'd both only have an effective connection of 14.4K.
