I think Fixer #reply-8348325 and Gord #reply-8358057 have nailed this Aber thing pretty well. As of January Aber had a third of a JV, not an option on a third of a JV - they're either in or they're out - if they paid they're in and if they didn't they're out, they lose share to wsp who put up the nickels and took the risks. Winspear is the operator and calls the shots, Aber antes up or they don't, and it looks like they haven't. No tickee, no laundry.

But your second point - that they could maybe tie up the Camsell Block in court with legal shenanigans - could just be one of the reasons for splitting off Newco. There are other obvious and more positive reasons, but we shouldn't overlook that one, for sure ....... cheers

I do't think this will be a long drawn affair, The dispute I mean.

I honestly can't see any legitimate excuse for Aber to have ignored normal practice in the written confirmation and the prompt payment of the cash call. So what they had in mind is a mystery that seems to be based on stupidity or cupidity.Just my take without access to the documents.

I assume the splitting of the company has more to do with ultimate disposal or take over concepts than the dispute. No connection with the dispute IMHO.

The dispute has already gone far enough that only a suit or a negotiated out of court settlement will resolve it, and so far there's no indication of detail on either avenue.

We could all get part-time employment as WAITERS, that's what we seem to be. Wait for this, wait for that........It's tough being a minority owner.

Cliff,It is my view that RT is in the early stages of putting a " FOR SALE " sighn on snap.We did discuss the problems of an explorer becoming a miner. Eg) Greenstone was a great explorer, but is having trouble making the transition to a miner.Randy said that the talent is for hire should WSP try to become a miner. With his latest move to divide the properties up, it is clear that he would like to continue being an explorer rather than a miner, otherwise it makes no sence in creating shareholder value to break the company up.With his recent press release to divide the properties, and the fact he stated that DBs is calling,IMO the writing is on the wall Snap will be sold after the bulks
