Dig deeper! Call Al Gore (remember he invented the Internet - but not the paper clip) & talk to George Schmitt.

Let us be real & not be subject to PR. APC launched first commercial PCS service in US. Developed a GSM subscriber base quickly. CDMA was not commercially available.

Whoops. I stand corrected.

I said:

APC (Sprint Spectrum) launched commercially November 1995 not 96, which is what I meant to type. Time flies.
