Marshall: I'm going to purchase one of the new Pentium III 500 mz PC's, loaded to the gills (256mb 100 mhz SDRAM) 22.6 gb ultra ATA hard drive (7200RPM), DVD, etc.....Dell offers as a Modem the US Robotics WIN Modem V90 PCI Telephony WinModem> do you have any experience with the v90 PCI Telephony Win Modem?? also, I'n going to get a Silicon Graphics Flat Panel Digital Monitor, with the Number Nine 32mb Digital Graphics card. Ever seen one?? also comes with a STB PCI TV/FM Tuner card..How is the quality of the FM..any presets?? I've never seen one of these. Any other comments or suggestions? OT: Marshall, well, that was a good story. I've got a sign in my lab that says "Caution: do not look into the laser beam with your one remaining good eye". Visitors get a chuckle from that, but maybe the sign works. Nobody has had a bad accident yet. I hope your friend's hand healed. Maybe there's a metaphor for investing in this story. Something like this: 'Caution: do not throw your last dollar down a rat hole', although that doesn't sound nearly as funny. Maybe somebody can come up with something a little more clever.
