Thankyou CyberCenter,

Looks like a nice array of stats. I wonder why RT doesn't have the Money Flow chartable -- or maybe they call it something else? They have a long list of chartable indicators that I really know nothing about. Still kinda skeptical about them all except the most basic.

Regards,
wily

The performance of CyberBroker is absolutely pathetic today.

Constant technical problems. First we couldn't log on for the first 1/2 hour. Then there was no LII. Then we got logged off several times. Then the index quotes died. When the finally came back, they'd often not show the field of how much up/down. Then we lose LII. And so on, and so on, and so on.

Technical support was very nice about it, but this is hopeless. I'm disconnected again - got the message that "I'll tell you when it's back on".

On a day like this! I've noticed that Cyber tends to have problems precisely on the best trading days. Not good.

Funny - no problems with Datek - fast, stable, streamer working - at $9.99 a trade. If it were'nt for Datek - I'd have made 1/6 of the money I could today, with all these problems at Cyber... especially the fact that Cyber was effectively dead the first 1/2 hour from the open (some of the best trading times!).

I bet you we won't see a press release from Mr. Berber telling everyone how online brokers are not suitable for serious traders. And that Cyber is the solution. HA!

Sure, technical problems happen. But they seem to happen more often at Cyber these days than at the online Datek - BY FAR.

And if we these technical problems appear too often - no matter who is to blame (as I was told by a rep "we are doing cutting edge technology, and so problmes occur).

I wonder, given this experience why should anyone keep sticking to Cyber - at a much greater cost per trade?

Maybe the way to go, is to get independent LII and charting, and just trade through Datek. Until the "technology is ready".

I predict Cyber will start losing customers, as more people catch on to what's going on.

I don't care to blame anyone - but if the technology is not ready - I'd rather pay less at Datek, since I get better results there anyway.

I'll give this broker until the end of April - and then I'll make my decision. I'm certainly not happy about the performance thus far.

CyberCenter Support

Blue Screen

For a long time I was plagued by blue screen problems. As often as 4-5 times a day I would have to completely reboot my computer. After calling cyber tech and discussing the problem, I gave my ISP a call.

Well, their suggestion has totally eliminated my problem and I thought I would share this information to possibly help others.

If you use Internet Explorer for a browser do the following:

Programs
Internet Explorer
Outlook Express
Tools
Options
General
Check - Check for messages
Set time to 5 minutes
Save

My ISP suggested you always open this window each time you log on, but I have logged on without it opened and I have had no problems.

Maybe this can help someone avoid all the frustrations I experiences.

zora

PS I realize that I don't use a browser with Cyber but somehow this was causing the problem.
