Agreed.......I cant say enough good about the tech support, without them I would have commited Sepaque. But in this business you need faith in the plateform, when you get in you need to believe it will still be working to get out. I have lost $ on several trades lately because of the failures. This is Daytrading.......and it is time sensative. I am not here to position trade, if that was my game I would be on a different plateform.
And I am tired of the excusses or lack of response to a 1-800#.
I love the people, love the product, but am at a point were I question my trades for uncertinty about being up and running 2 minutes from now. One must have confidence in thier own ability and the tools they use..........I do not have that in Cybers servers at this time. I have begun a search for a new Co. to do business with.

Thank you tech support for all your efforts today, I know you are in a tough spot.........the middle.

Bob

Just noticed your post and would like to let you know that my DBC
StockEdge OnLine had similar problems today. Couldn't access Level II
Interesting that Datek worked fine.

Best Regards,

Bob

Funny - no problems with Datek - fast, stable, streamer working - at $9.99 a trade. If it were'nt for Datek - I'd have made 1/6 of the money I could today, with all these problems at Cyber

You make a great case for having more than one broker. Having a backup can be invaluable. I just opened an account at ABWatley, but will keep several accounts at Fidelity for, among other reasons, the backup capability. The same can be said for having back-up ISPs.

Best,
Gary Korn

Dear Francis Drake:
I agree with your comments posted today.

I have recently closed my account with cyberbroker and now receive direct data stream from my clearing house and have to tell you that cyberbroker's problems are not limited to the ones you listed. Compare your index prices from cyberbroker with other sources or call a broker who has direct connection to the floor and compare the numbers. Cyberbroker's index prices are not up-dated constantly, and hence you don't see every tick. From what I observed, I believe that cyberbroker's index prices are up-dated every 27 to 30 seconds.
I also urge you and other readers to read my comments that I posted on this thread earlier this month, dealing with technical problems with cybertrader on the days that the volume is heavy or the market is active in the early hours, like today.

Speaking of commissions, make sure you double check your commissions with your own daily trading records, in that two out of three times, they charge you full commission for those trades that dont get filled by one party on the other side, and it is broken up into two or three trades, or when you end up re-entering an order for the left overs.

Lastly, speaking of Mr. Berber's comments and the on-going campaign and advertising that cyberbroker and the program they offer is suited for daytrading, and not E-Trade or other brokers, I have some very serious comments and issues that I will be addressing very soon on a new thread. Stay Tuned
