I agree with you James...Canada does whatever the US tells it too, seems uncapable of making its own decission...

I am very worried.... one of these days some lunitic is going to strap a bomb onto the side of a boat and go sailing into NY Harbour....the list of peoples wanting to take a notch out of the Americans is growing by the day...

This action is futile. Only makes matters worse. I can not help but think that this is somekind of attempt to gain political support from the Muslim world. I was in Saudi, UAE, and Bahrain within the last year, and when Sudan and Afganistan got hit, if I was out on the sidewalk I would be contstantly asked " Are you American?" "Are you a American?"....the road in front of the office got baracaded and thick steel sheets got put up at gaurd houses into the compound... oh yes....the list is growing.....one of these days the lid will come off and then the US will say " We have to retaliate " then the world goes Poof....

I hope the US knows what the hell it is doing......with any luck we will be able to stay out out the radio active cloud....

I disagree
or
They are politicians

Both start with "p" but puppets don't have to get elected.
Any leader today has to have a coherent approach to foreign policy. This was emphasized during the Gulf War, when everyone faced the same reality, a madman with an army. That approach has to encompass international efforts at mediation, contributory peacekeeping, and if necessary, the use of armed force.
Iraq and Iran are quite toothless, today.

Without FORcE, words are just wind...
