That would be interesting, but to do that you would have to carry it all the way back as well. I am sure there would be other periods of relatively low cost money available and the chart shows that during those periods the relative PE was still 15 or so.

Maybe I am all wet in my thinking on this, but if you adjust for the cost of borrowing, you need to do so all along and that would also change the mean figures to a lower number probably.

Does that make sense? I guess what I am suggesting, is you cannot just analyze today's numbers in a vaccum, all numbers would need to be adjusted....

I would love to see such an animal....
