With its low price, Hyundai sells a lot of cars, but it has not hurt the sale of Lexus. As a matter of fact Lexus has introduced more models. Both cars will take you from point A to point B. Maybe Hyundai has a better gas mileage.

If you can only afford Hyundai, go ahead buy Hyundai.

If you can only afford E-Machines, go ahead buy E-Machines.

hdl.....cheap machines redux....

seems like history repeats...e-machines,microworxz...et al...a bit of deja vu...as in low price hyundai, leading edge, and even packard bell....when will they learn that you can't sacrifice profit to get market recognition, let alone market share...ibm succumbed to the aforementioned and allowed price pressure to destroy their pc business...dell doesn't appear to do so...the bto, pay me in advance business model precludes entering into losing market segments...when was the last time you saw a dell close out at a retailer...remember moores law...obsolence comes fast and then the new machines must compete with the inventory blow out loss leaders at the retailers, and the cycle repeats...dell always selling latest technology with quick delivery..if i sell everything i make, and get paid up front for the sale, i can sacrifice "dangerous revenue" and live comfortably with the only thing that pays the bills..."profit"

cheers, ed a.
