Interesting story on CNBC right now about how WCOM has been quietly spending big bucks on wireless cable (isn't that an oxymoron?). They're still waiting to hear from the company on it.

CNBC reports WCOM/NEXTEL in merger talks today. 15 Billion plus deal
which includes Nextels 7B in high yield debt. WCOM "hopes to feel out the market on the news to see how the stock reacts".
