CompUSA same store sales down 7% but PC's and laptops still strong...
Here's part of the report:

Despite worries over weak PC sales, CompUSA said third-quarter unit sales of desktop PCs increased about 20%, while unit sales for notebook computers increased 55%. Still, the average selling prices for each dropped 15%

RE:DELL expansion-IBM does 12 billion in annual PC revenues-if DELL gets all that business then they first have to be prepared to have it "come aboard".-on their way to 50 billion annual revenues by 2001-2002.wbm
