Maybe its me....and maybe I don't understand the process well enough...but I have one question which is bugging me....

I live in the NYC metro area...and heck...we're polluted lets face it...in my home state of New Jersey there was once some of the most deadly superfund sites in the nation...there still are a few left and there are one or two on Long Island...anyway...places like Newark, Elizabeth, Red Hook Brooklyn, the Bronx, Harrison, Kearny, Paterson, Passaic...etc...are all old manufacturing towns...or brownfields as they call them these days...with plenty of industrial infrastructure left and plenty of industrial waste to clean up...

Contaminated soils abound in alot of these areas...not too mention...we produce more garbage in this area save for Tokyo...

my question is centered in this area...if this technology is so successful at separating metals from scrap, etc...then why isn't this technology being marketed in these areas??? Burton mentioned Pennsylvania...a state that has a great deal of mining waste...and towns such as bethlehem, allentown etc.. which are old steel mill towns....this would make sense taking advantage of these resources...

Also...you would need a constant flow of raw material to generate the product...who produces better products for industrial waste than a big city like New York? Just a rambling I guess...I'm biased...:)

keep up the discussion....
