Hi Bernie,

I have been at ProFunds for a while now and have used percentages to trade the whole time. I have not been using AIM to do this.

I have just ordered and received the PCA software. Looking forward to implementing it with UOPIX. I have accounts at both Waterhouse and ProFunds. Waterhouse is good because it gives me the capability of margining my funds (haven't done that yet!) but it costs $25 commission each time I trade. With ProFunds - no commission.

At ProFunds, because I trade a "group account" I must use percentages. I will just take the dollar amount specified in the software for buys and sells and divide that by the total updated balance (cash)and get the percentage from that. I think that's the way to do it...? Hope Tom gets back soon so he can clear this up ;-}

I know this may be simplistic and crude, but this is the only way I can figure to do it. Waiting for Tom....

Additionally, for next year's taxes, I'm going to have to figure a way to best report the gains. I'll search the AIM Questions and Answers for that one - unless someone can give me a direct reference to how the taxes are calculated on the gains....

I guess you update on weekly basis, rather than daily. I'm just guessing that if you did it daily, you'd probably have your sell tonight! And, then you could really celebrate! <ggggggggg>

Have a great one!
