The reality is that NATO intervention only angered the Serb army and accelerated the explusion. If atrocities were being committed this only made it much worse. As a Kosovo Albanian stated when he crossed the border into Macedonia, the Serb police became more impatient and forceful when they learned of the bombing of Belgrade. Remember NATO had Milosevic at the table but failed to present a fair agreement; take a read especially 2,5,7. Essentially the conditions were sign this unchanged or be bombed. Not exactly a fair situation ... in my opinion NATO and Clinton are responsible for the refugee situation by cornering Yugoslavia.

You are speculating about what MIGHT have happened or not happened if we hadn't bombed. I am talking about what DID happen as a direct result of the bombing.

Actuality trumps speculation any day of the week.
