>>>>>Aluminum plus lye is like movie acid<<<<<

Yow. Glad you told me. I have never used lye (well, lye soap a long time ago), but one of my hobbies is refinishing furniture, and the older books recommend lye for heavy work, like oil-based paint and milk paint.

When guys would get dragged into the lumber mill wood-chippers up here, there was never a funeral with chips or anything.

They just made paper out of them.

It happened at least once or twice a year. Remember, it almost happened to Dash, on green chain, and he got out of his coat.

The guy who got caught cleaning the acid tank at the pulp mill, and drowned in 200-plus degree sulfuric or hydrochloric acid - I don't know how much of him they seined out.

Helps to know the plant manager, but you could toss just about anything in a mill chipper without being noticed. Guys probly do that with deer heads and stuff.

I'm sure there's been a wife or teenager or two that have been hand-krafted.
