Nothing better than a fry pan full of blue gills....how dare you use them for bait! :)

EDIT - In fact, if they are small ones, scale them, be-head them, gutt them and fry them up....bones, fins, tail and all. Use butter and chopped onions. Eat them up just like that and wash down with an ice cold beer....nothing but the best! You should try it.....a bit different than your brisket cooking, but very good....<<gg>>

A client of ours has a pond in his back yard and he invited us out to fish if we wanted. There used to be all sorts of fish in there, but the bass ate them all and took over. They are stacked in that pond. He said take as many as you like as they need to be thinned out and he was not kidding. It was the first fishing excursion for my boys and I swear to you every single cast brought up a fish. In fact one cast, brought up two, one on each treble hook on the rap.

Unreal.

But fun. My kind of fishing! :)
