Getting rid of Mason and Pfieffer would have a much greater positive impact on the stock then any AltaVista announcement.

Ira... it would be my guess that EP and/or EP will will not be removed nor will they resign. CPQ is fine long term, but those who got in at 40 or higher may have to wait a year to break even. Kumar said that CPQ is already trading at a discount to the market and I think he said 24 would be a new base. This an instant replay of last year. Innovate starts on Monday and AV, if handled correctly, could serve to stabilize the shares. You can bet that EP will be sweating bullets at the shareholders meeting on 4/22. The fact that they waited til 4/9 to warn will draw MAJOR criticism. Kernan and Kumar were first to jump on that band wagon. When the stock gapped down on EM's "warning," it went from 41 to 35, I think. It then dropped to a range of 31-34 and held up fairly well for about 30 days. I look for the gap down to be to 26 and then for the stock to trade in a range of 23-25 from there. El

You are displaying a very disloyal character.
You should not be blaming management for your decisions.
You were warned many times over the last year.
Show a little character!
