What do you think of PCNTF? Before it came out, it was highly recommended to me, but, natch, I couldn't get any. Those at the PCNTF thread are just as fanatical as we are here. Anyway, I plan to get out of INTC tomorrow, with a tidy profit, and go into it and, perhaps, IATV.

OT:
in order to keep the net stocks going the equipment must be supplied, updated and replenished....ergo DELL, or whomever. I do believe that at this time DELL is the winner here.

Actually, Sun, IBM, and EMC (especially EMC) on the hardware side and ORCL in software seem to benefit most from the big net providers. CPQ should be in a better position than Dell for that business since they have a broader range of servers, including both Alpha servers running Digital Unix and Intel-based servers that can run either NT or Linux while Dell has only Intel boxes for NT or Linux.

Judging from their job listings, Go2Net uses a mix of Unix machines including both Sun and Linux boxes. All of the tech job openings include this requirement: "Fundamental understanding of UNIX (especially solaris, Linux, BSDi)"
