<<Dell Computer has also criticized IBM, contending that it is making deals at price levels that are prohibitively low. ...

IBM is obviously fighting to keep its PC business alive!>>

Bachman: Great comments...IMHO, IBM is under pressure to re-configure their PC business sooner than most folks realize. I would bet that high level talks between DELL and IBM are underway --and an expansion of the recent agreement could be around the corner. It would help both companies and create a powerful synergistic relationship <GG>!!!

Best Regards,

Scott

Ref:IBM's aggressive price cuts.

Bachman,
Oh now he tells us how IBM managed to lose a billion last year and a couple of hundred million the year before.I wonder what 'much improved cost structure' Salomon is talking about, something I failed to pick up I am sure.
