Yet the change in accounting principles suggests it is preparing to be evaluated by the public on the increasing value of its holdings . Agreed. Trying to move into a CMGI type co? Who knows.. But the private co's in BICC's holdings look to have some great potential. Granted all public securities the co holds are one time gains if sold, BICC appears to have a very good track record of picking winners, and it stands to reason that they can continue this record. (No gaurantees, of course!) I don't follow CMGI, but does anyone know how they account for their earnings? As for comparing to WCAP and PWCC, no comparison. Those guys have nothing close to what LPG has. Given its apparent penchant for a low profile, why issue US ADR's? Not positive on Naz rules, but since they are based in Jersey, they don't have a choice. Double dipping? NWA Corp leases airplanes to NWA itself. Doesn't seem like a rare practice, nor do investors complain. Like Victor stated, you're investing in both at the same time. Thread: Thanks for all the posts lately; there have been some of excellent quality. This is what makes SI such a valuable forum. Let's keep them coming. x
