Y'know, I'm as outraged as you, but I'm not sure its about not having heart...
I make a living at journalism (or used to...I'm less and less inclined to for obvious reasons). The profession is mostly about spin which is now called news. As for Kosovo--read recently that this is where our "politics of gesture" got us--and agree. I can't stand it.

I try not to watch CNBC because it's obvious they're stupid. I try to watch BBC news three or four times a week as they're fairly intelligent...American journalism sucks. I love America, it's the best place in the world, but we are provincial dolts!

To have more friends is better and safer than have more enemies. Now the US burn the fire everywhere in the world, we got more enemies than friends, and that is not a good sign. Force can not resolve every problem, and sometimes you need to negotiate , and hear the ideas of the other side . We want to save that part of the world, but , now refugee will spread all over Europe, and innocent civilians got killed, and Now 36000 soldiers will be sent to Europe, and will will see the loss of life of US soldiers, and it will be a prolong war . I do not see the strategy, and what
is the goal we are trying to reach, and what is the mission ?
