David, my current portfolio (excluding the two retained biotechs) consists of stocks whose products I buy/use personally (HAS=Furby,StarWarsToys; INFO=elibrary,companysleuth; ESV=Gasoline;OATS=health supermarket) and thus can monitor their progress as a natural byproduct of my normal daily routine. I don't have time for the kind of study it takes to keep up w/biotech portfolio. I'm encouraged to see that with knowledge, time and inclination you were able to assemble a good biotech portfolio.
