Jobs has a personality disorder.

The initiative of the Telecommunications Industry is high speed.

ATT - TIME - Cable - ADSL - Whomever.

You can be out of Real Networks - You can also be an idiot.

Long RNWK

Could it be, I'm not the only one who's underwhelmed by RealPlayer? The article goes on to describe the coming boom in online content creation and the inevitable ubiquity of streaming media -- made possible - not by the mega-sized mass-media content providers, but by the *free* distribution of QT server technology to anyone with a home PC and something to say.

soup, if you're going to post articles like this, at least have the good sense to point out that it was written by David Horrigan, who is anything but an impartial columnist -- he's a known supporter of Apple, and his views are thus colored to support Apple.

BTW, ever notice how a good many of these releases don't seem to mention AAPL partners? RNWK is signing up partners like gangbusters.

SOUP,
regarding the quality of this thread, there are some participants who don't fit your description but for the most part you are correct.
2) the aaple system is anything but free...In the story you linked us to I saw one product which was free and a variety of others ranging from $200-$12000. That is where they get you, it isn't anything that resembles free.
