Well, the analysts didn't like it today and by the sound of it there are quite a few shareholders that don't like the idea of it and judging from todays performance I wouldn't say that the market was exactly overwhelmed by the prospect either.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and predict that if a NXTL/WCOM deal is made, WCOM's stock will actually RISE b/c the fear and uncertainty of them not having a wireless branch will be over. Therefore, the market can look past the glaring deficiency when takeover day comes and bid the stock up, virtually disregarding whatever WCOM pays to get it.
