That is a nice move by AOL and MSFT. They know that if T controls
more than 50% of Cable access they can control the broadband equation.
They also know that T has lot of friends in FCC and Govt and hence they won't stop the deal. So only possible way to damage the deal is
to gang against T. Either they win or make T pay more for the deal
and create a long-term financial hurdle.
But we have to wait and see how it unfolds and what move each one will
play. Hope there won't be any back stabbing.
