Paul

This is a little off topic but I'm wondering if you would share your current evaluation of the long term prospects of Rambus. There has been some doubts cast lately, as I am sure you know, and even Dr. Barrett seemed to be backing away from a strong endorsement in one article that was posted here recently.

Sometime last summer or fall, I was seriously considering selling my Qualcomm shares until I saw a strong endorsement from you on this thread and so decided to hang on for a while longer. Needless to say I am glad I did. Can lightning strike twice?

Thanks, Andy

Paul, did you notice how quickly the price of the Pentium III 500 MHz is going to drop? From $635 back in April down to $309 when Coppermine is introduced sometime around September? And to think that even a Pentium III 450 MHz goes for more than $350 at this moment.

It's really interesting to see that Intel already forsees a quick drop in processor prices. More likely than not, Intel already figured these price drops into their predictions and guidance for the rest of the year. So when guys like Danny Boy Niles pops in and predicts that Intel's prices will drop much faster than expected, they'll be ignoring the fact that Intel is already planning some steep price cuts in the future.
