just an opinion..why would it continue to be the gorrilla in storage with big bussinesses if it had aging products..that doesnt add up..they would have started to fall behind and would not have been gaining market share from ibm, etc..

I used to own hp stock a few years ago. Sold and never looked back. They say one thing and then miss the number. There have been quotes of top executives (one was in Asia two years ago) saying they were going great guns then they they miss the number. It again happened in the next quarter. It seems to me they wanted a bigger piece of the pie from emc for doing nothing! emc wanted to cut them out and go alone and bring in larger profits and commissions for the reps.

I have been buying though out this down turn. Certainly, can wait for turn around.... John

ps I heard while in the Boston area that commissions/bonuses are based on time tables. If they get things done sooner the bigger the bonuses. If its true a hell of an incentive...
