In my opinion the only one that makes sense to IPO is TVontheWeb. They appear to have what it takes with Dave Gardy and Crew and added Tim Swift from Merv Griffin. They could use the money to expand and already have revenues.

Although the other web companies are all attractive, it does not appear that they would benefit from an IPO as much as TVontheWeb would.

Dave made a comment that the Broadcast.com deal with Yahoo changed everything.

Does anyone have some additional comments on how the AXC shareholders could benefit?
estimates?

Chris

Why would they have to? They have that option IPO or no. You can make money with options without exercising them you know. They can exercise them after the IPO regerstration or even after issue. And the time from regerstration to actual sale of shares can be some time. All they have to do is keep a few shares handy and not sold in case Ampex decides to exercise them. The registration will cause Ampex's stock to go up well before TVW goes on sale.

You are right Hal could be news of partnership with a major player. Hopefully someone with broadband capability.
