Sanjay: an option primer can be found at cboe.com. look around for an extended primer of 10 chapters (basics, strategies, risks, etc.) that you can download and read. also there is an Options Toolbox that you can download free or have a CD sent that is a tutorial on equity and index options that you can use to paper trade. coincidentally, over the last 2 weeks i too have been using these references to get educated.
