Paul,

Re: "Intel is currently ramping up 3 (THREE) 0.18 micron fabs - D1B (Oregon), Fab 12 (Chandler) and Fab 18 - Israel - brand new & 0.18 micron from the ground up "!

I was under the mistaken impression it was 4.

Anyhow in terms of Coppermine (109mm2 die size) capacity what unit volume does that represent.

My guesstimate is 40M/qtr units be interested in your expert number.

This is in addition to any 0.25 fab caapcity thats upgraded.

Regards,

Kash

Are you aware of any effort to slow the brand new 0.18 micron fab?

Thanks,
Chuck
