Concerning your page file partition K:. I want to give this a try. Does implementation of this idea involve moving the pagefile.sys fom whatever system folder NT defaults it to into K: and then enlarging pagefile to near the size of K:?
I gave this a lookover and was not allowed to move pagefile.sys, I think because it was in use, but I'm not certain.

I figured out how to change the page file location. The page file partition I'm trying out (E:) is 1811 mb. I made the page file there 1300mb initial and 1750mb max. Would there be an advantage to a 1750-1750 sizing? And how about using my fastest access time drive,which would be the scsi for the page file partition?

I have noticed an increase in my machines general snappiness,its really quite impressive, the change that is. I also kept a minimal 2-139mb page file on C:
